I Come Here

The night is so dark. He walks along the route, listens to the night sounds – the crows, the barks, the crickets. Now, he is standing in front of the house. The door is the only barrier between he and she.

“Knock-knock”. Twice.

The door is opened by a young lady. She looks shocked with the presence of the man. Her expression suddenly changes from unemotional (behind the door, maybe she looks different, in other word, I don’t know her feeling) to offensively angry towards him.

“Why you come here?! I don’t like you. I had killed you in my memory. Why you come here? Why?! I’m not willing to see you. I haxte you!”

Her brother unexpectedly comes and pushes the guy in front of the door. Then the another brother comes and kicks him. The girl, standing at the door and keep shrieking at him. The elder brother says, “you are not allowed to come here. You are not accepted in this family!”

With blood floods from his mouth and nose, the guy slowly says

“I’m sorry. This is tough for me. I’ve been walking for months. From the unforgivable gloomiest place, finished the miles of full of regret, and today I come here….

….just to see you smile.”
